Dinner starts at 4:30. Tell us when you are coming and how many are sitting down, and anything the kitchen should know first.

Some dishes are cooked to order and take a little longer. The baked pasta needs 25 minutes, so it helps to say so here.

Our kitchen

Made from scratch

Amici was opened in 2014 by the Romanini brothers, and it cooks the food of Emilia-Romagna and Tuscany: simple, traditional Italian dishes made from scratch with the freshest local ingredients, from recipes that have been in the Romanini family for generations.

That is the whole idea, and it is also why the room looks the way it does. Checked cloths, an oven you can see burning, and a plate that tastes like somebody's family made it.

  • Pasta rolled in house, so a plate of spaghetti does not taste like a box
  • Marinara, meatballs and Mamma's meat sauce, all made here
  • Bacon cured in our own kitchen and used right across the menu
